A WhatsApp conversation between a manager and a newly joined female employee has gone viral on social media. X user Nalini Unagar shared the screenshot of the chat and captioned it: “Real men make women feel comfortable, not guilty.”
In the exchange, the employee informed her manager that she was having some health issues and requested to start work after 12 pm. The manager replied supportively, “Ok no worries.”
Later, the manager inquired if it was a serious health issue. The employee responded that it was “normal body panic.” The manager then asked, “Ohh it’s periods?” Upon confirmation, he informed her that the company allows 2-3 days leave during periods if the employee is not feeling well.
He encouraged her to rest, saying, “Bindaas aaram karo, salary cut nahi hogi.”
The incident highlights a supportive approach taken by the manager towards the employee’s health concern.
