In a shocking incident in Thondamuthur, Coimbatore, a Chennai-based rowdy-sheeter named Karthik alias Mariappan hurled petrol-filled bottles at a young woman’s house after she rejected his proposal and ended their relationship upon learning of his criminal background. The accused, along with his aides, carried out the revenge attack on motorcycles, which was captured on CCTV. The woman, a college student, and her family escaped unhurt, though the house sustained damage.
The prime accused reportedly has over 31 criminal cases registered against him, including serious charges like robbery and murder. Police have registered an FIR and launched a hunt for the suspects. A special team has been formed to track them down
