A man who st*angled his girlfriend to d*ath met his own end from a heart attack while trying to dump her body in the woods. In a case that many are calling instant karma, Daniel Robbins, 44, of Georgia, m*rdered Jessica Folds, 47, by strangulation before collapsing fatally as he attempted to dispose of her remains.
Authorities discovered the couple’s bodies in a wooded area in Lanett, Alabama, responding to an abandoned truck with its engine still running and the driver’s door open. Drag marks led from the vehicle into the trees, where Robbins appeared to have been moving Jessica’s body when he suffered the heart attack. He had a known pre-existing heart condition, according to his ex-wife.
The motive behind the murder remains unclear, with officials describing it as a domestic incident. Jessica was found with her hands raised over her head, while Robbins lay nearby in a fetal position. The grim discovery came after an autopsy confirmed strangulation as the cause of her death.
