A food delivery rider’s Alertness and helmet camera footage led to the arrest of a molester in Phitsanulok. On July 20, rider Seksan Janmanee was waiting at a red light near Phitsanulok Technical College when he noticed a man acting suspiciously, repeatedly circling the intersection instead of crossing the road.
Seksan began recording with his helmet camera. Moments later, the man molested a woman waiting on her motorcycle at the traffic lights. Seksan immediately shouted at the suspect, who apologized and walked away. The rider later shared the footage on Facebook to warn the public.
Police arrested the 36-year-old suspect, identified as Nattaphong, near a railway line after the video circulated widely. Many women commented that they had experienced similar incidents involving the same man in different parts of Phitsanulok. He was charged with committing an indecent act in public following inconsistent statements during questioning.
