A nurse was assaulted during her night shift at a government hospital in Limbdi, Surendranagar district, Gujarat. The incident took place around 1:45 AM.
According to reports, Divyarajsinh Gajendrasinh Rana got into an argument with the nurse and sl*pped her while she was on duty. CCTV footage of the incident later surfaced.
Police detained the accused after the video came to light. The accused later apologised for his behaviour. Authorities have been urged to take strong action to protect healthcare workers from such violence.
