A shocking murder case from Dhar, MP: Priyanka, and her partner, Kamlesh, hired a hitman named Surendra Bhati for ₹1 lakh to carry out the killing of Priyanka’s husband. To mask the crime, Priyanka staged an elaborate scene: she claimed three to four intruders broke in, tied her up, and fled with jewellery and cash worth over ₹3.5 lakh. She even released emotional videos on social media, tearfully demanding justice for her husband to maintain her facade of an innocent, grieving widow.
However, the “robbery” narrative collapsed under professional scrutiny. Dhar SP and investigators noted that while Priyanka claimed a heist had occurred, all the “stolen” ornaments and cash were discovered hidden inside the house during a police search. Additionally, forensic evidence showed that Devkrishna had been targeted with a single, lethal blow to the head while sleeping, which contradicted the struggle expected in a random robbery. The lack of forced entry and inconsistencies in her interrogation eventually forced a confession, revealing a relationship between Priyanka and Kamlesh that dated back to their childhood. While the couple is in custody, the police are still tracking down the hired killer, Surendra.
