Ex-Army Man Held for Harassing Nurses in Dehradun Hospital
A confrontation erupted Friday morning at a private Dehradun hospital after 42-year-old Ramesh Singh, a retired Army man, harassed the nursing staff. According to hospital sources, Singh was accompanying his mother-in-law for treatment. Under the influence of alcohol, had earlier engaged in inappropriate conversations with nurses and returned the next day to hurl indecent comments despite warnings.
The nurses confronted him in a corridor, sparking a scuffle captured on video, where Singh was slapped and restrained. Police arrived promptly and booked him under assault and sexual harassment laws. He remains in custody as investigations continue.
