Ex-Army Man Held for Harassing Nurses in Dehradun Hospital
A confrontation erupted Friday morning at a private Dehradun hospital after 42-year-old Ramesh Singh, a retired Army man, harassed the nursing staff. According to hospital sources, Singh was accompanying his mother-in-law for treatment. Under the influence of alcohol, had earlier engaged in inappropriate conversations with nurses and returned the next day to hurl indecent comments despite warnings.​
The nurses confronted him in a corridor, sparking a scuffle captured on video, where Singh was slapped and restrained. Police arrived promptly and booked him under assault and sexual harassment laws. He remains in custody as investigations continue.
