Indian Man Assaulted in Dublin Rescued by Woman After Teen Attack

An Indian man, recently arrived in Ireland to work for Amazon, was brutally assaulted in Dublin’s Tallaght suburb on July 19, 2025, leaving him gravely injured. Jennifer Murray, a local woman driving by, discovered him bleeding heavily with blood pouring from his head, stripped of his clothes, shoes, wallet, and phone by a group of about 10 teenagers aged 15 to 16. The man, who had come to pray at a temple, pleaded “Please save me” as Murray shielded him, warning the attackers could have killed him, while an ambulance took an hour to arrive despite his severe facial, arm, and leg injuries.

Police began an investigation after the 6 PM incident, with the man rushed to Tallaght University Hospital for treatment. Murray’s account has guided authorities as they probe the attack’s circumstances, though no arrests have been made yet. The man, described as highly qualified and polite, remains hospitalized, with his family in India informed. The case has kept Dublin police active, supported by Murray’s courageous intervention, turning a violent ordeal into a striking tale of survival on the city’s streets.
