Tragic Silence: MBA Grad Found Dead in Locked Bengaluru Flat

A 25-year-old MBA graduate from Davangere was discovered dead in her rented home in Gayatri Nagar, North Bengaluru, on Saturday, in a case police have linked to depression.

Living alone for the past 18 months while working at a private company, she had stopped responding to family calls for several days. Concerned relatives asked the landlord to check. The door was locked from inside. When opened, her body was found hanging in a room, already in a decomposed state—indicating she had died days earlier.

Police at Subramanyanagar station registered a case of unnatural death. Initial reports suggest suicide, with officers stating she “was suffering from depression.” No signs of forced entry or struggle were found. Her mobile phone has been sent for forensic examination to retrieve call logs, messages, or any digital clues. A postmortem report is awaited to confirm the exact cause and time of death.

No further details about her personal or professional life have been released. The investigation is ongoing.
