Delhi NCR: Teen Shot by Stalker Who Couldn’t Accept Rejection
A 17-year-old girl was shot in an alley by Jatin Mangla, 22, a man who had been stalking her after she rejected his advances. CCTV footage shows the accused waiting near a bike before pulling out a gun and firing twice as the girl walked by with her friends.
One bullet hit her shoulder and another grazed her abdomen before the shooter fled on his motorcycle.
The victim was hospitalised and is stable after surgery. Police said the victim had repeatedly spurned the accused’s attempts to approach her.
